Papa Roach are gearing up for a busy summer, as the hard rockers are playing the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival this August and also readying a shiny new album. Speaking with Army Sergeant Russell Toof of American Forces Network Europe, frontman Jacoby Shaddix revealed that fans should expect a new Papa Roach album by this September.

“We don’t know the name of the album; we’re still going back and forth about what we feel like the album should be called,” he explained. “The release date is going to be sometime in September. We don’t have a date yet, but sometime in September. And the first single, we’re still trying to whittle down to the final right now…"

As for the upcoming Uproar Tour alongside Staind, Shinedown, P.O.D., Godsmack and more, Shaddix is stoked for it. After all, the guys of Papa Roach have played with almost everyone on the lineup, so it will be like old times.

Thousand Foot Krutch is gonna be on there, and we’ve never toured with them, but dude, we’ve played shows or done tours with everybody else on that bill,” Shaddix said. “We’ve never been on a proper tour with Godsmack, so this will be the first time… we’ve done shows with them. We did a tour with Staind, and those are our homeys. I’m really ex about being out there with P.O.D. Those are my dudes, man. And the guys in Shinedown, I’ve got nothing but love and respect for those guys. It’s going to be a great way to spend the summer…"
