Pop Evil Announce 2018 Tour Dates With Palaye Royale + Black Map
Just a couple of weeks back, hard rock group Pop Evil announced plans for their fifth studio album, due out Feb. 16. Today, they've revealed that they're embarking on a headlining tour across North America in celebration of the self-titled disc. They will be joined by Palaye Royale and Black Map, rounding out an excellent lineup.
The North American run of dates, dubbed the "Music Over Words" tour, kicks off Feb. 14 in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., at the Kewadin Casino. It runs all throughout February and March, terminating back in Michigan at Detroit's Fillmore.
Along with the announcement of the self-titled album, Pop Evil also put out the first taste of what fans can expect from the record with "Waking Lions." It cements the band's new lineup with drummer Hayley Cramer, and shows what the band is capable of moving forward.
“This is a dawn of a new day for Pop Evil," says vocalist Leigh Kakaty. "The new lineup feels like a whole new chapter for us. We could not be more proud to lead off this new album cycle with 'Waking Lions,' sending a positive message to our fans.”
