Randy Blythe + More Remember Disney Star Cameron Boyce Who Died at 20
Following the unexpected death of Disney Channel star Cameron Boyce last week, Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe and Black Veil Brides' Andy Black shared their condolences for the actor who was just 20 years old. See the musicians' messages down toward the bottom of this post.
Boyce died July 6 "due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated," his family said in a statement reported by Slate. He had appeared on Disney shows such as Jessie and Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything. He also starred in Adam Sandler's Grown Ups movies.
But his proximity to big names in rock and metal came through the upcoming series Paradise City, Sumerian Films' American Satan spinoff set to premiere this year. As shown on IMDB, Blythe, Black, and other musician-actors from the Sumerian canon (including Asking Alexandria's Ben Bruce) co-star with Boyce on the show.
In addition to the support from Black, and a candid pic of the actor shared by avid photographer Blythe, Sumerian Films' own Ash Avildsen contributed to the kind words left for Boyce. Avildsen — also the head of Sumerian Records — created both the American Satan film and the imminent Paradise City.
