Slipknot are continuing a pretty raucous week with a new clip from their upcoming documentary, Day of the Gusano, which will screen for one night only in theaters on Sept. 6. You can now see a portion of the band's performance of "Vermilion" from their 2015 Knotfest date in Mexico City (watch above).

It's only a quick snippet from the rest of the show, but it paints a picture of why it was a memorable event for the band. Everybody sounds at peak form, singer Corey Taylor showing off how well he can perform the song over ten years after its original release on Vol 3: The Subliminal Verses.

Their always amazing stage show is on full display as well, rotating drumsets being lit under the cool purples and blues of their giant stage. The 90 minute documentary will go into both the festival behind the scenes and onstage -- a sight to see for any fan of metal.

Earlier this week, Nickelback lead singer Chad Kroeger dissed Taylor's musical output in an interview, where Kroeger claimed Taylor's other project Stone Sour were "Trying to be Nickelback." He added he'd never heard a hit song from any of Taylor's bands, and that, “[Slipknot] had to put on masks and jump around. How good can your music be if you’ve got to beat each other up onstage, throw up in your own masks every night?”

Taylor would eventually respond to Kroeger's comments in an interview with radio station 98 KUPD. He advised Kroeger to “curl up in bed with your Hello Kitty pillow and shut up.” He continued, “I was so cued up to say some stuff about him, and then I just started reading all the comments online. I don’t have to say a damn thing. He is not a liked person. You can run your mouth all you want. All I know is I’ve been voted ‘Sexiest Dude In Rock’ wearing a mask. You’ve been voted ‘Ugliest Dude In Rock’ twice without one. Stick that up your ass.”

Watch the clip of "Vermilion" above, and look out for Day of the Gusano on Sept. 6!
