The fans have had their say and Breaking Benjamin's Dark Before Dawn has been voted as the Loudwire June 2015 Release of the Month. It was a very competitive battle that went down to the final day of voting as Dark Before Dawn edged out The Darkness' Last of Our Kind for the title.

In one of the biggest voting months to date, Lindemann's Skills in Pills, Tremonti's Cauterize, Slash's Live at the Roxy 14.25.9, High on Fire's Luminiferous, Failure's The Heart Is a Monster and August Burns Red's Found in Far Away Places also put up big voting totals.

Dark Before Dawn marks Breaking Benjamin's first new album since 2009. The band now finds frontman Benjamin Burnley flanked by a new lineup that includes guitarists Keith Wallen and Jasen Rauch, bassist Aaron Burch and drummer Shaun Foist.

Burnley recently told Full Metal Jackie, "Everybody is the perfect fit for the band. Everybody is totally mutually respectful of one another. Every great relationship is built on respect. You get what you give. Everybody is just totally humbled. We just want to go out, be real and have a really good time with our fans. Everything has been going great, we’re really fortunate. We’re a fan driven band so we’re really nothing but absolutely grateful for all the support we’ve been getting.”

The band is off to a hot start with the chart-topping single "Failure." Burnley recently elaborated on the slow-burning rocker on Facebook stating, “Before Breaking Benjamin I had been in and out of so many failed bands, and with each one of those failures I have become a better musician, a better songwriter and have made so many amazing friends along the way. My failures have prepared me for my successes. Life is full of failures but it teaches us exactly what not to do, and learning what not to do is no different than learning precisely what to do to succeed.”

The band has also previewed the rhythmic rocker "Angels Fall" and hard-hitting anthem "Defeated" ahead of the album's release. The Dark Before Dawn disc officially drops in stores June 23. You can pre-order the album via Amazon and iTunes. Look for the band gradually working in new material from the Dark Before Dawn album into their sets over the coming months. All their current tour dates can be found here.

Once again, congrats to Breaking Benjamin, as Dark Before Dawn has been voted at the June 2015 Release of the Month by Loudwire's readers.
