Over the years, we've become accustomed to In This Moment providing us with visually stunning videos for their songs and the band is keeping the tradition alive with their latest clip. Loudwire is proud to bring you the exclusive premiere of In This Moment's "Sex Metal Barbie" video (watch above).

It should be noted that this video not only finds vocalist Maria Brink front and center in the clip, but also in the director's chair as she stepped behind the camera for the "Sex Metal Barbie" video. And it is definitely an eye-catching watch.

Opening with a demonic voice providing the intro, we're introduced to Brink surrounded by creatures in a variety of settings and using House of Mirrors-like special effects to provide a distorted view of those appearing in the scenes. Brink is decked out in pink behind her Black Widow pulpit while creatures look on, chomping on a cigar or interacting with dancers in her various scenes, all while the camera shots provide a distinct look.

"I am very excited about the release of the 'Sex Metal Barbie' video," Brink tells Loudwire. "Directing it was a liberating experience. When you write music that you are very passionate about being able to bring the visual aspect of it alive with the music is what ties everything together. 'Sex Metal Barbie' is all about rising above hate. I used other people's hatred to create this song and concepts."

She adds, "I really wanted this video to convey that other people’s perceptions of us are just their own twisted and warped views. I wanted a sarcastic and delusional visual to bring this video alive. Lastly I want to thank all the people who feel compelled to express negativity toward us for all the inspiration. I couldn't have done it without them."

"Sex Metal Barbie" is featured on In This Moment's Black Widow album. The disc has already generated the singles "Sick Like Me" and "Big Bad Wolf." You can pick up the album at Amazon or iTunes. Look for the band on tour at these stops, and be sure to catch In This Moment performing in June at the inaugural Loudwire Music Festival. For details on the festival, click here.
