You heard Theory of a Deadman rock before, but the band is about to give you a more intimate look at some of their songs with a brand new acoustic collection. The Angel Acoustic EP will be released on April 28 through Roadrunner/604.

As the title would suggest, the initial draw here is a stripped-back acoustic take on the band's current single "Angel." The song has already entered the Top 10 at Active Rock radio and is still on the rise. Meanwhile, the video for the song is nearing one million views.

The five-track release also features an interesting cover of Tove Lo's pop single "Habits (Stay High)," which will be an instant grat track for those who pre-order the EP at iTunes beginning April 21.

Other songs getting the acoustic treatment include the Savages album track "The One," "Not Meant to Be" from their Scars & Souvenirs disc and "Santa Monica" from the Gasoline album.

On top of the new Angel Acoustic EP, Theory of a Deadman continue to support their 2014 effort Savages. The disc has already spawned the singles "Drown" and the title track prior to the recent climb up the chart by "Angel."

Look for Theory of a Deadman on tour this spring in the U.K., then enjoying a breather until the summer when they kick off a U.S. run. Included in those dates is an appearance at the inaugural Loudwire Music Festival taking place at the Jam Ranch just outside of Grand Junction, Colorado the weekend of June 26-28.
